The Gobezoch Guarantee

A coached programme to exam day, and a promise backed by our own checkpoint exams. These are its full terms.

What you get

• Everything in Gobezoch Plus, for 12 months.
• A checkpoint exam every 2 weeks: 60 questions from all six papers in 72 minutes, with your predicted total out of 600 and its likely range.
• Follow-up chapters after every exam: the textbook sections where you lost the most marks become your reading list, until you have read them and answered their questions right again.
• Weekly targets: 5 study days and 2 practice exams a week (a mock exam, a past paper or a checkpoint).
• A weekly progress report to a parent on Telegram, if you send them the link.

The price is 999 Birr, paid once, for the programme up to the exam date you give when you join.

The promise

If you meet every condition below, then:

• Refund. If your last 3 checkpoint exams, pooled, predicted at least 300 at the low end of their range, and your official national exam total is below 300, we refund the Guarantee fee (999 Birr).
• Next year free. If they predicted at least 400 at the low end of their range, and your official total is below 400, you get next year's Guarantee programme free.

"At the low end of their range" means the predicted total minus its margin, as shown on your Guarantee page. Your page shows, live, whether you are covered and which promise applies.

The conditions

1. You joined at least 8 weeks before the exam date.
2. You took a checkpoint exam in every 14-day period from the day you joined, and at least 3 in the last six weeks before the exam.
3. You met both weekly targets in at least 90% of your weeks.
4. You finished at least 90% of your follow-up chapters by their due date.
5. You took the exams yourself, on your own account, and sat the national exam in the stream you chose.

Gobezoch records all of this on its server as you study, and shows it on your Guarantee page. A sitting counts when at least 60% of its questions were answered.

How to claim

After the national results are published, open your Guarantee page and send your admission number and official total within 30 days. We check them against the published results, and may ask for your result slip. Refunds are paid by mobile money to the number you paid from, within 14 days of approval. What the Guarantee is not

It does not promise a particular score, university place or field. Predicted totals are estimates from your own checkpoint exams. Gobezoch is independent and not affiliated with the Ministry of Education or the Educational Assessment and Examinations Service.
